After producing my own shoe mould, I use a Slip casting technique to form my unique ceramic shoe sculptures. Once the mould is removed I leave the shoes until they are completely bone dry. The shoes are then fired, glazed and then fired again.
These exclusive pieces of craftsmanship are then decorated by either ceramic transfers or are hand painted, each pair is then hand finished with lustre and re-fired one last time. I then add the final touches - such as a soft layer of felting on the underside to prevent scratching surfaces.
These exclusive pieces of craftsmanship are then hand painted or decorated with decals. Each pair is then hand finished with lustre and re-fired one last time.
